DEPLOYMENT NOTES
- Released new campaign builder (test users only)
Vantage has released the new campaign builder for a selection of THD test users. Vantage will release the new campaign builder to all other THD users once the training sessions are complete and the test users have had the opportunity to build campaigns and provide feedback. The new campaign builder includes features such as:
- Copying ads to other placements
- Updating ad copy on all ads, all ads in the placement, or all ads with the same media
- MK selection, audience selection, and ad building all within the same page
- Media library with the drag and drop feature for images and videos
More information on the new builder will be provided during the official release for all THD users.

Impact: The new campaign builder will allow THD users to build campaigns more efficiently by reducing the number of steps required to build and update ads. The new campaign builder also sets the foundation for further improvements based on THD feedback and other feature requests in the future.

As part of the new Vantage campaign builder launch, Vantage now supports Google Dynamic Search Ads (DSA).

Impact: Vantage has added another campaign type that is required by the Search COE. This will allow the Search COE team to launch more campaign types within Vantage, instead of having to launch campaigns in different systems depending on the type of campaign.

- Added Facebook Stories and Instagram Reels placements for dynamic campaigns
As part of the new Vantage campaign builder launch, Vantage now supports FB Stories and IG Reels placements for dynamic campaigns. THD will now initiate tests for these placements to evaluate the impact on campaign pacing and performance.

Impact: This unlocks new placements for THD to leverage when running dynamic media on Facebook and Instagram. Including more placements can help campaigns improve pacing and performance.

- Updated system rules to support Added Value campaigns
Vantage updated the system rules when an Added Value campaign is imported from the PIO feed to allow THD users to launch Added Value campaigns.
- The “[2] Added Value Code” will sync into PIO & be present in the sync to Vantage.
- Vantage will then look only at the last 4 characters of the “[2] Added Value Code” field. If the last 4 characters are one of [‘OBMG’, ‘CLBJ’, ‘CLRI’, ‘CLVF’, ‘SIJB’, ‘SIRI’, ‘AISN’,] then Vantage will replace the MK in the taxonomy with the entire value in “[2] Added Value Code” field.
- If the campaign is using “[2] Added Value Code” field, Vantage must also replace the "COGS: Working Media Budget" with the "[2] Added Value Price" for the campaign budget.

Impact: This allows THD to provide suppliers with more advertising opportunities, testing opportunities, bonus media, etc. that can now be executed through Vantage.

- Added the ability to convert a carousel card back to a standard ad when building a campaign
Users now have the ability to convert carousel ads back into standard ads without deleting the ad and starting over. All carousel cards will now have a button that reads "Convert Card to Ad" that will take the individual card from the carousel and convert it into a standard ad.

Impact: This update will save users time when building ads if an ad is converted to a carousel by mistake or the user changes their mind. Users can now simply convert the carousel back into standard ads with one click.

- Automatically apply the "product class code" to campaign taxonomy if "product class name" is listed in PIO
Vantage will automatically import the values listed in the product class section of PIO for the campaign taxonomy. If the value entered in PIO is the "product class name," Vantage will now automatically convert that value into the "product class code" (required for taxonomy) when adding it to the taxonomy in Vantage.
Where: Setting Update
Impact: This will further reduce the number of campaigns that have taxonomy issues when the product class name is used instead of the product class code.

- Added the ad platform campaign ID to daily and weekly feed emails
Vantage has added the ad platform campaign ID to the emails that list the campaigns that are missing from the Home Depot daily and weekly feeds. This update was made based on a request from THD.

Impact: This update will make it easier for THD to locate the campaigns that are missing from the daily and weekly feeds and allow the team to identify and solve the problems more quickly.
